The CPCU Society, an affiliate of The Institutes, is a premier association for the risk management and property-casualty insurance industry. The CPCU Society provides its more than 22,000 members with continuous opportunities to gain relevant technical knowledge, enhance their leadership skills and engage with thousands of professionals.

The Society’s members hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU^®) designation, which is conferred by The Institutes and requires passing rigorous undergraduate-and graduate-level exams, meeting an experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics.
